PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy, copper alloy plastic processing material, component and terminal, for electronic and electrical equipment, that is excellent in yield strength-flexure balance, that has an excellent bendability even in the parallel direction with respect to the rolling direction, and that is suitable for terminals, such as connectors, etc., and components for electronic and electrical equipment, such as relays, lead frames, etc.SOLUTION: The copper alloy is characterized in that it comprises Mg in a range of 3.3 atom% or more and 6.9 atom% or less and the balance is Cu and inevitable impurities, and the yield ratio YS/TS calculated from the strength TS and 0.2% yield strength YS, obtained when a tensile test in the parallel direction with respect to the rolling direction is conducted, is over 90%. |
