<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel material having excellent alcohol corrosion resistance, which is applicable to large-size structures, without the need for plating treatment, addition of an inhibitor or the like, by improving the corrosion resistance and SCC resistance of the steel material.SOLUTION: A steel material comprises a component composition containing, in mass%, C: 0.03-0.3%, Si: 0.01-1.0%, Mn: 0.1-2.0%, P: 0.03% or less, S: 0.01% or less and Mo: 0.01-1.0%, and further comprising at least two selected from Cu: 0.05-1.0%, Sn: 0.01-0.2% and Ni: 0.01-1.0%, with the remainder made up of Fe and unavoidable impurities.</p> |
