PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic wood preservation agent which is constituted by only an inorganic component, does not evaporate and maintains antiseptic properties for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The wood preservation agent is applied on a wood or an urethane foam material as a primer coating before a paint is applied on the wood or the urethane foam material as a real coating. The wood preservation agent made of an inorganic compound contains a base compound including lithium silicate and a sub compound including sodium silicate. The wood preservation agent can exert anti-termite effect and antiseptic effect when containing lithium silicate and sodium silicate at a ratio in a range of 85/15 to 50/50.
