1. An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising:
a support; and a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer formed on the support; wherein the charge generating layer comprises: a charge generating substance; and an amine compound represented by the following formula (1); where, R1 to R5 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, a carboxyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy group, an amino group having a substituent group, or a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic amino group; and at least one of R1 to R5 is an amino group substituted with a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, an amino group substituted with a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic amino group.
