Class 97(1) The anti-dazzle spectacles comprise a frame a having a bridge piece b and hinged side arms c, a horizontally and forwardly extending visor portion d extending from the upper part of frame a, and a shield f carried by the visor portion d and so positioned and configurated that a wearer has an unobstructed field of view when the head is held in a normal eyes front position, but which shield may be readily interposed between the eyes and a source of dazzle by movement of the head. As shown, the shield f may have cut away portions f<SP>6</SP> and may be held in grooves in visor portion d and in side portions e.
