The invention relates to a method for operating a refrigerant circuit as a heat pump, wherein refrigerant is condensed by means of a condenser (10) and pumped by a refrigerant/heating heat exchanger device (14). Refrigerant coming from the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger device is relaxed in at least one first expansion organ (23). Refrigerant relaxed by the first expansion organ flows through at least one evaporator (24) to a suction inlet of the condenser. Refrigerant is branched off at a branching point of the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger device located between a refrigerant inlet (21) and a refrigerant exit (22) of the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger device (14) and conducted in the direction to the suction inlet of the refrigerant condenser via a second expansion organ (26).
