The present invention provides a wet-type pet food allowing quality to be stabilized because the mineral content can be strictly adjusted, the pet food having exceptional palatability. A pet food containing 5 to 50 mass% of solids, wherein the pet food contains an animal-derived protein raw material, a plant-derived protein raw material, a palatability-improving substance, and water, the palatability-improving substance mainly including magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, chlorine and a chicken-meat-derived amino acid. The mass ratio of the total amount of plant-derived protein raw material to the total amount of the animal-derived protein raw material is 0.15 or more, and the total amount of elemental magnesium, sodium, phosphorus and chlorine in the solids content is 5 mass% or less. |
