PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate the beat period or beat position of an acoustic signal.SOLUTION: A reliability calculation section 32 calculates the reliabilities X0(τ[n]) of a plurality of candidate periods τ[n] as candidates of the beat period T of an acoustic signal S, respectively. A reference period acquisition section 33 sets the reference period TREF to be variable in response to a command from a user. A weighting section 34 weights the reliability X0(τ[n]) of each of the candidate periods τ[n] on the time axis with each weight value wA(τ) of weight value distribution WA set at a time corresponding to the reference period TREF on the time axis. A beat period determination section 35 selects any of the plurality of candidate periods τ[n] as the beat period T of the acoustic signal S in accordance with the reliability XW(τ[n]) weighted by the weighting section 34. |
