PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydro burst system directed to clean a flat plate screen.SOLUTION: A screen water intake system includes a body having an opening end and a chamber. A flat plate screen 80 is arranged at an opening end of the body. An air burst system 100 includes a plurality of pipes arranged in the chamber, and removes dust from the flat plate screen 80. The pipes are arranged nearby the flat plate screen 80 in parallel with each other, and the respective pipes have a plurality of orifices on sides facing the flat plate screen. The plurality of directors are arranged along and behind the plurality of pipes. The directors have channels respectively and the pipes are arranged at the channels. Compressed air is discharged from a tank through a valve and the air burst is scattered from the orifices of the pipes.
