<p>The invention pertains to a bushing (1), preferably intended for the dampening/reduction of vibrations in a vehicle such as a truck or a bus during its use/operation, comprising at least one elastic element (5) and at least one overload element (8, 11), wherein the bushing (1) is arranged to be mounted to an object whose vibrations are to be dampened/insulated. The invention is achieved by the bushing (1) mainly consisting of an inner and an outer, essentially cylindrical, sleeve (6, 7), by the elastic element (5) being arranged between the inner and the outer sleeve (6, 7), preferably through vulcanisation, by the elastic element (5) having an essentially rotationally symmetrical design between the inner and the outer sleeve (6, 7) and by holes being arranged to impact the stiffness characteristics in the bushing's axial and vertical directions and allow the inner sleeve (6) to have limited mobility in relation to the outer sleeve (7) against the action of the elastic element (5), and by at least one overload stop in the form of a side stop (11) being integrated in the bushing (1) and arranged by/against the outer sleeve's (7) edge surface.</p> |
