摘要 The present invention provides a method of smelting gold and silver to remove arsenic using a natural absorbent such as sawdust, which comprises: a first step for crushing ore into 40-50 mesh of ore; a second step for reducing the volume of the ore by a proportion of one hundred to one by using a spiral grader; a third step for drying the ore by using a rotary dryer; a fourth step for grinding the reduced and dried ore into three types of ores which are (1) 200 mesh, (2) 270 mesh and (3) 325 mesh; a fifth step for inputting the three types of the ores into a mixer, stirring the ores for 24-120 hours after injecting air into the ores, stirring the ores after injecting a reagent (NaCN) into the ores, and measuring the pH of the ores (pH 9.5-9.6, pH 10.1-10.2, pH 10.5-10.6, pH 11.1-11.2, pH 11.5-11.6) during the stirring and melting of the ore; a sixth step for filtering the ore by using a filtering tank; a seventh step for analyzing muck (residues) of the filtered ores, and selecting and smelting the ore which contains the highest Au content of the three types of the ores in the second step according to the analysis of the muck (arsenic remains in the ore since the arsenic is insoluble in an alkaline solution); an eighth step for using solar heat to dry the selected ore and using a natural or recycled absorbent such as saw dust to fully absorb Au from the filtered solution; a ninth step for using a burner to burn the ore; and a tenth step of using an electric furnace to smelt the ore. The method of smelting gold and silver according to the present invention is provided to remove arsenic by using a natural or recycled absorbent easily available at a low price in nearby surroundings, and to prevent generation of a waste ore-bearing solution, thereby smelting gold and silver at low costs with high efficiency while using an environment-friendly method.
