<p>The device has an optical configuration unit including a lighting module (9) and an optical coupling unit (14) for allowing optical coupling of an LED light source (16) with a set of optical fibers (3) and optical coupling of a camera (7) and a CCD detector (8) with another set of optical fibers (5). The configuration unit allows one of optical coupling of another LED light source (10) and the camera and the CCD detector with the latter set of optical fibers, and optical coupling of the latter light source and the camera and CCD detector with the former set of optical fibers. An independent claim is also included for a method for performing optical measurements such as fluorescence and absorbance measurements, on a sample distributed at a measurement site on a support.</p> |
