<p>The cartridge (2) has a support element (44) that supports a pretension element (37) for a drying agent over springs (38a, 38b). The support element is freely accessible from outside. The pretension element is arranged in a cover area. The support element is supported at a base wall (20) over a tension element (47) that is extended by the cartridge. A housing (19) forms an opening (36) to an inner area (24) in which the drying agent is arranged. The support element partially closes the opening. The support element is movable under change of application of the springs. The tension element is selected from a group consisting of a tension anchor, a tension rod, a wire, a bar, a screw or a tube. An independent claim is also included for an air dryer of a compressed air system in a commercial vehicle.</p> |
