<p>The method involves using the contact points (40,43) extending in the Y-direction parallel to the component (120,130) away from each other in the X direction for the orientation of the X-coordinates and/or the non-contact points (30,33) extending in the X-direction parallel to the component away from each other in the Y direction for the orientation of Y-coordinate. The components are held by a robot. The distance and orientation measurement is performed in the uncoated region of component. An independent claim is included for a device for detecting position of component in apparatus.</p> |
