Wing with trailing edge flap

The profile (10) has a pivotable trailing edge flap mounted on a hinge axis (12) at the profile. A region of the trailing edge flap is extended for multiple levels (A-C) that are perpendicular to a hinge axis of an outer shell profile. A solder toe defines radii of upper and lower shell contours of the edge flap along flow direction. Outer skins (14, 16) of an airfoil form a gap in front of the solder toe. A connection between a lever arm and an actuator is formed as a ball joint head. Interpolation between the shell contours is carried out by a sectional plane along span direction.
