Provided are a heat exchanger and a method of manufacturing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a tube is inserted into a through-hole formed in a fin coated with a filler material, the tube is attached to a collar of the fin through the filler material by brazing process, wherein no flange is formed at an upper end of the collar vertically protruding from a planar surface of the through-hole that forms the fin. The tube is formed of an aluminum material and a gap between the outer circumference of the tube and an inner circumference of the collar may be 0.1 mm or less. Accordingly, a contact resistance generated when a fin-tube type heat exchanger is manufactured through a mechanical tube expansion method can be reduced, and no deformation of a groove formed in the tube is generated, heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger is improved.
