<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting shade providing a sense of sophisticated interior properties, having a comparatively simple structure, and facilitating assembly, by solving the problems with a conventional exemplary lighting device having a light source attachable to surrounding four support posts by a simple system and a Japanese paper sheet stretched around the periphery of the support posts, wherein a box shaped entire structure does not provide a sense of sophisticated interior properties, although it is suitable as interior with a texture of the Japanese paper. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting shade includes a plurality of fan raw materials constituted by expanding a plurality of ribs in a fan shape with a braid string and by fixing both top ends of a bow attached to a stem with the braid string. The fan raw materials are formed in a tubular body by crossing and overlaying some ribs of the adjacent fan raw materials so that both of them are combined. A shade body is constituted by applying a necessary part of a sheet such as the Japanese paper to rib parts of the tubular body.
