PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graph generating device and graph generation program, for inhibiting a relation between words with each other from being shown complicatedly when compared with the case that the relation between the words with each other included in a sentence is shown in a graph, including a designated word, to a set from which the sentence including the designated word is extracted. SOLUTION: A questionnaire is stored in an all data storing part 44, and when a search word is set, an extracting part 45 searches sentences including the search word among sentences of comments of the questionnaire stored in the all data storing part 44, and extracts subsets composed of sentences including the search word. When instructed so as to exclude the search word, a graph generating part 48 generates a directed graph, excluding the search word and displays the directed graph in a displaying part 50. In the case of performing a narrowing search further, the graph generating part 48 generates a directed graph, excluding both words of the previously set search word and a search word set this time, and displays the directed graph in the displaying part 50.
