Sensorless control method for a multipump system and multipump system

The method involves controlling determination of a manometric head (H1) of a pump by a variable speed drive from a determined flow rate (Qp1) and from a characteristic curve of the pump, where a flow rate (Qpn) of the pump of a multi-pump system is determined from the determined manometric head (Hmps), from speed (Wn) of the pump and from the characteristic curve (Hqcurve-n). A total flow rate (Qtotal) of the multi-pump system is determined by addition of the flow rates obtained for the pump. An independent claim is also included for a multi-pump system.
