The rotary joint has sliding rings (11,11a) which are arranged between the rotating flange (1) and the fixed housing (12) of swivel joint of two sealing, to form a sealing gap (17) and to realize the sealing function of pivot joint in the transition between non-rotating and rotating elements of the joint. The sealing rings (5,15) in radial direction sealing the outer periphery of the respective opposing sliding rings are supported. The sealing rings in the axial direction are additionally acted upon by a spring pre-stress in the axial direction by adjacent intermediate rings (14,24).
