The bearing assembly (50) has a housing portion (52) and a housing cover (54). A gear (46) is rotatably mounted on a bolt (58). One axial end of the bolt is fixed with the housing cover. Other axial end of the bolt is connected to a bearing sleeve (60) connected to housing portion. The bearing sleeve is provided as a separate component, and is fixed in an axial direction between the housing portion and the housing cover. The sleeve is provided with a bolt receptacle (68) arranged eccentrically with respect to a longitudinal axis (61) of sleeve. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a hybrid gear assembly; and (2) a method of assembling a hybrid gear assembly.
