PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of efficiently and effectively operating a vibration type low pass filter mechanism. SOLUTION: A digital camera (1) comprises: a vibration type low pass filter means (14) for vibrating an object image on an imaging device (13); and control means (15) for setting driving frequency of the vibration type low pass filter means (14) during exposure of the imaging device (13) in accordance with the length of the exposure period. For instance, the control means (15) sets the driving frequency to a high frequency when taking an image at high shutter speed, an intermediate frequency when taking an image at intermediate shutter speed, a low frequency when taking an image at low shutter speed, or the like.
