PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping-reinforced rolling mill which effectively suppresses chattering even when performing high-speed rolling. SOLUTION: The damping-reinforced rolling mill is characterized in that in a rolling mill 1 in which back-up rolls 6 and back-up roll chocks 7 for holding the back-up rolls 6 are incorporated in a housing 2, opposing surfaces of the back-up roll chocks 7 to the housing 2 are brought into contact with the housing 2 through liquid films 9 while interposing back-up roll chock liners 11 and housing liners 10.
