The present invention relates to a method and a device for providing a context awareness service. The method and the device are capable of: performing a context awareness of a user according to context defined by the user in a user device; and automatically carrying out at least one action thereon to feed the context information back to the user. The method for providing a context awareness service includes the processes of: defining a control command for a context awareness service by a user input; carrying out a replay mode and the context awareness service according to a user selection; inputting an external audio through a microphone in a state that the replay mode is being carried out; determining whether the inputted audio corresponds to the control command; and carrying out an action according to the control command if the inputted audio corresponds to the control command.
