<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic organic porous anion exchanger which is handled easily, excellent in heat resistance and oxidation resistance and exhibits a low pressure loss when a fluid is permeated therethrough and which has large anion exchange capacity and to provide a method for producing the monolithic organic porous anion exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: The monolithic organic porous anion exchanger has a quaternized amino alkoxy styrene constituent unit and a constituent unit which is derived from a cross-linkable monomer having at least two vinyl groups in one molecule thereof. The constituent unit to be derived from the cross-linkable monomer is 1-5 mol% of all of the constituent units. The monolithic organic porous anion exchanger is characterized in that quaternized amino alkoxy styrene-cross-linked polymer particles each having 1-50 μm diameter are agglomerated to form three-dimensionally continuous skeletons and a three-dimensionally continuous void of 20-100 μm is formed among the skeletons. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
