The present disclosure sets forth a video display monitor (20) and deployment system (10) for a vehicle, airplane, or other compact environment. In particular, the disclosure sets forth a compact video display monitor (20) that may be stowed within a deployment system housing (30) when not in use, and manually deployed to an extended position for viewing. In at least one aspect, the system (10) provides a mechanism that rotates the video display monitor (20) from a flat position to a vertical viewing position as it extends out of the deployment system housing (30). |
