The present invention relates to a vegetating mat having a structure for protection and growth promotion of street trees, which is installed on the edge of the ground where street trees are planted, protects the street trees, and supplies nutrients and moisture to the street trees. The vegetating mat is installed to be laminated on the surface of the ground where street trees are planted, and comprises a multi filament layer stereoscopically combining natural cocoa fibers to supply nutrients to cultivate plants; a vegetation layer preventing the combined cocoa fibers from disassembling due to rainfall, and installed under the multi filament layer capable of cultivating plants; and a growth promotion part including a mesh net mounted on the multi filament layer and under the vegetation layer so as to maintain the laminated form of the vegetation layer and the multi filament layer. The vegetating mat of the present invention allows to effectively supply nutrients and moisture to street trees to promote the growth of the street trees and to organize the city environment, and prevents soil of the ground where the street trees are planted from being furrowed so as to protect the street trees. Furthermore, the vegetating mat of the present invention has economic effects by allowing to supply moisture to the street trees in drought by installing a moisture supply unit so as to reduce withering of street trees, and reduce the labor and costs due to ringer injection or replacement of ringer bags. |
