The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an acrylate-based film and a polarized plate using the same and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing an acrylate-based film comprising the steps of: electric discharge treating at least one surface of an acrylate-based film; and saponifying the electric discharge treated acrylate-base film with a saponification solution having an alkali agent contained in a mixed solvent of alcohol and water, and thus, not requiring extra equipment or process, increasing a roughness of the surface of the acrylate-based film, having the surface density relaxed for an adhesive to easily penetrate into the film and improve the adhesion to a polarizing element, and to a polarizing plate using the same.
