<p>The present invention relates to an automatic brake system of a forklift truck comprising: a forward/backward lever of a forklift manipulated by an operator; a forward operation valve and a backward operation valve operated by the forward/backward lever; a transmission mounted between an engine and a driving wheel to shift gears by operation of the forward operation valve or the backward operation valve; and a brake unit for forcedly braking the forklift truck according to whether or not the operator is in the forklift truck, wherein the brake unit includes: driver sensing means for sensing whether or not a driver sits on a driver′s seat; brake pedal sensing means for sensing whether or not a brake pedal is operated; and a controller which receives signals of the driver sensing means and the brake pedal sensing means to control the forwardly operation valve and the backward operation valve.</p> |
