摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power conversion efficiency while controlling load power variation. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply PS according to the embodiment supplies power not only from a first power converting part 2 to a first lighting load LA1 but also from a second power converting part 3 to a second lighting load LA2, completely disconnects the first power converting part 2 from the second power converting part 3 in an electrical manner, and combines load output (light output) of the first and second lighting loads LA1 and LA2. Therefore, when an amount supplied by a DC power system DC decreases, the power supply PS can reduce load output variation (light output variation) by reducing the load output (light output) of the second lighting load LA2 through decrease in the output of the second power converting part 3 and by raising the load output (light output) of the first lighting load LA1 through increase in the output of the first power converting part 2.
