PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing a carbon fiber is provided to guide a driving path to prevent overlapping or contact with other driving part. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing a carbon fiber comprises: an oxidation stabilizing furnace for obtaining a heat resistant fiber by thermal treatment of a carbon fiber yarn under an oxidative atmosphere; and a carbonizing furnace for obtaining a carbon fiber by heating the heat resistant fiber and carbonizing. The oxidation stabilizing furnace has a space part with an inlet and an outlet for a carbon fiber yarn. The space part has an inlet port for supplying heated air and an outlet port(24) for discharging the heated air. The space part also comprises a heating furnace in which a plurality of guide rollers(15) is arranged. A guide device with a guide groove which guides a plurality of the carbon fiber yarns is mounted to be adjacent to a guide roller. [Reference numerals] (50) Gas processing part; (AA,BB) Controller |
