PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam cover capable of easily covering a beam having even a narrow width projecting from a wall surface, and a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: A beam part projecting at a junction of a party wall and a ceiling slab is covered with a beam cover 7. A fixing square timber 7a is attached to the underside of an interior ceiling 6, in parallel with an interior wall 5, at a predetermined distance from the interior wall surface. The upper end of a beam type panel 7b having an approximately L-shaped cross section formed from a rectangular plaster board 10, a reinforcement plywood 9 laminated on the rear face thereof, a spacer square timber 8 having a thickness corresponding to the predetermined distance attached to the lower end of the rear face of the reinforcement plywood, and an underside reinforcement plywood 12 attached to cover the undersides of the plaster board, the reinforcement plywood, and the spacer square timber is then fastened to the fixing square timber with a screw, and the spacer square timber is bonded to the interior wall. |
