The machine has a stirrer pot and an agitator (6) with an output shaft (9). A drive shaft (8) is attached to a drive shaft that is attached to a stirrer pot receiver during attachment of pot. A clutch (7) is formed by formation of assigned sections of the drive shaft and output shaft. The drive shaft and the output shaft have a damping device (E) within a coupling region. The damping device works in two stages in a circumferential direction, where one of the stages is designed stiffer than the other stage. The stiffer stage is brought into effect, when torque amount exceeds a certain torque.
