摘要 The present invention relates to a power control device for a vehicle battery. The main purpose of the present invention is to provide an effective and efficient power control device for a vehicle battery capable of automatically cutting off the power of a battery when the battery is discharged or overcharged by a dark current, or when an overcurrent is generated or a vehicle collides. The power control device for the vehicle battery includes a relay connecting or cutting off power supply to the vehicle from the battery; a current sensor which detects a battery charge current sent from an inner alternator of a vehicle, a battery discharge current supplied to an inner load of the vehicle via the relay; and a controller which controls the power supply to the vehicle from the battery by outputting control signals for controlling the on-and-off operation of the relay according to the value detected by the current sensor. The relay, the current sensor, and the controller are mounted on the battery. The current sensor is composed of a large current sensor whose current measurement range is relatively large, and a small current sensor whose current measurement range is relatively small.
