The present invention relates to a method for determining an optimal peak power point and, more specifically, to a method for determining an optimal peak power point which can determine optimal peak power capable of minimizing a base rate among electricity rates paid by a building or facility. The method for determining peak power in a building or facility according to the present invention comprises the following steps of: (a) collecting daily power consumption data in a building or facility for a predetermined period from a peak power determination point; (b) calculating a power consumption reduction curve in the building or the facility by reflecting power cost based and energy based reduction elements for the daily power consumption data; and (c) calculating a total energy cost curve in the building or the facility by reflecting a base rate reduction element, a power generation cost element, and a power rate reduction element for the power consumption reduction curve, and determining peak power at the peak determination point using the total energy cost curve. |
