Flexible portable electronic device

The device i.e. smart card (1) has a flexible body (2) to be secured to a wrist of a user, where the flexible body includes a lower flexible band (4) and an upper flexible band (6). An electronic assembly (8) for processing information includes a solar cell with a flat surface, where the solar cell is housed between the lower flexible band and the upper flexible band of the flexible body. The solar cell is mechanically held to one of the upper or lower flexible bands by only one of the sides transverse to a longitudinal axis of symmetry of the electronic device.
