The electromotor (1) has motor cases (2,3) comprising inwardly directed projection (22) for forming seats (23,24,33,34) for receptively receiving stator (4), rotor hub (6) of rotor (5) and one end of the motor shaft (7). Several cooling fins (21) are arranged at the outer side of motor case. A sleeve-shaped flame barrier is arranged around the motor shaft. The gap between the case, stator, rotor, rotor hub and the motor shaft is set less than 0.5 mm. The motor cases are formed from aluminum.
