A heat exchanger for exchanging heat between two fluids comprises a first chamber 10 through which a first fluid X flows, a second chamber 20 through which a second fluid Y flows, and a graphene foam structure 40 extending from the inside of the first chamber to the inside of the second chamber to conduct heat from the first fluid to the second fluid. Each chamber may comprise an inlet 11, 21 and an outlet 12, 22. A plastics or rubber common wall 30 may separate the chambers. The chambers may be side by side or one inside the other, i.e. coaxially (Fig 2). The graphene structure may be rings. |
