PURPOSE: A face detecting device using a feature is provided to detect a face based on the extracted feature after extracting a global feature in an input image by using learning data. CONSTITUTION: A feature extracting unit(110) extracts a global feature form an input image by using learning data. By applying adaboost algorithm to the extracted global feature, a face detecting unit(130) detects face. A first feature is extracted from a first area including left upper side of the input image. A second feature is extracted from a second area including right upper side of an input image. A third feature is extracted from a third area including bottom side of the input image. |
