PURPOSE: A composition for forming methacrylic resin is provided to have excellent transparence and thermal stability without using a separate thermal stabilizer by comprising polymethylacrylate resin or polymethyl(meth)acrylate resin with low molecular weight. CONSTITUTION: A composition for forming methacrylic resin comprises 0.1-5.0 parts by weight of chain transfer agent based on 100.0 parts by weight of alkyl methacrylate. The copolymerizable functional unsaturated monomer is one or more selected from methacrylic acid esters, acrylic esters, acid anhydrides, hydroxy group-containing ester, acrylamides, methacrylamides, a nitrile-based monomer, and a styrene-based monomer. The chain transfer agent is a mixture of a thiol-containing first chain transfer, and a halogen-containing second chain transfer. |
