The present invention relates to a heat pump system for a vehicle. More specifically, the heat pump system for a vehicle controls a first direction switching valve according to a difference value (ΔT) between the temperature of the air around the vehicle and the temperature of a refrigerant at an inlet of an outdoor heat exchanger, so that the refrigerant circulating in a refrigerant circulation line passes through the outdoor heat exchanger or bypasses the outdoor heat exchanger through a first bypass line. Therefore, only in a case where the heat exchanging efficiency between the air and the refrigerant flowing in the outdoor heat exchanger is high, the refrigerant passes through the outdoor heat exchanger. If the heat exchanging efficiency is low, the refrigerant bypasses the outdoor heat exchanger, thereby improving heat insulation performance and efficiency of the system.
