PURPOSE: A financial apparatus is provided to reduce the number of media inputs and reduce the number of deposit transactions. CONSTITUTION: Through a media input/output unit (13), media including bills and checks are collectively input. A discriminating unit (20) recognizes the media input through the media input/output unit. A temporary bill stacking unit (30) stacks the recognized bills temporarily. A temporary check stacking unit stacks the recognized checks temporarily. Bill keeping boxes (41,42,43) keep deposited bills. A check keeping box (44) keeps deposited checks. A control unit sequentially recognizes the input media by controlling the discriminating unit. The control unit returns media exceeding a limit amount to the media input/output unit if an accumulated amount exceeds the limit mount for a deposit transaction, and performs the deposit of the media which do not exceed the limit amount. |
