<p>Disclosed are a multimedia device and a method for controlling the same. A multimedia device for controlling at least two items of mutually different data types and device types according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a conversion module for converting a first item which is currently performed into an image format; a network interface module for receiving an item list from an external device; a memory for storing an image of the first item, additional information, and the received item list; a memory controller for accessing the memory; a display module for displaying an image corresponding to each item in a preset region of the screen; an input module for selecting an image corresponding to a specific item; an input module for selecting the image corresponding to the specific item; and a controller for controlling the specific item by using the additional information corresponding to the specific item.</p> |
