摘要 The present invention relates to a battery system for a vehicle and, more specifically, to a cell voltage sensing circuit diagram to identify a cell status, and a method and a constitution to control the cooling/charge/discharge of the battery system. According to the present invention, the battery system for a vehicle comprises: a battery module including one or more battery cells to convert chemical energy to electrical energy to produce a fuel; a thermistor having positive temperature coefficient (PTC) properties to block the flowing overcurrent from the battery cells by raising the temperature and by increasing the resistance when the overcurrent flows in the battery cells; and a cell management unit (CMU) to measure the voltages of the battery cells, monitor whether there is a short between the battery cells and sensing wires, whether there is a voltage variation among the cells and the temperature of the battery cells and transmit such information to a battery management unit (BMU) through a controller area network (CAN) communication; and the BMU to control the charge/discharge/cooling of the battery system based on the information received through the CAN communication.
