Disclosed are a method for manufacturing an aromatic liquid crystalline polyester amide resin and an aromatic liquid crystalline polyester amide resin compound. The disclosed method for manufacturing an aromatic liquid crystalline polyester amide resin comprises a step of polymerizing a monomer material including acetylated aromatic hydroxylamine and aromatic diol. The used amount of the acetylated aromatic hydroxylamine is 1.0 to 14.0 parts by mole with respect to 100 parts by mole of the aromatic diol. The monomer material includes a hydroxyl group and does not include an amino group.
