The present invention provides a magnetic composite material which has: magnetic metal particles dispersed in a dielectric material; a real part micro′of a complex permeability that is greater than 1 at a frequency of 3 GHz; and a loss tangent tan delta of 0.1 or less. The metal particle has the shape of a needle with an aspect ratio of 1.5 to 2.0.
