The present invention relates to a method for calculating evapotranspiration using a satellite measurement material, capable of calculating the evapotranspiration using a surface temperature and incoming short wave radiation measured by a satellite. According to the present invention, the precise evapotranspiration is calculated to reflect the actual evapotranspiration property of a target area. Thereby, a useful basic material is provided for a rainfall-runoff analysis, water resource estimation, and the simulation of various hydro phenomena.
