According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for recovering sensible heat from slag comprises a casing having an internal space to which a slag supplied from the outside drops; an air supplying port which is connected with a lower part of the casing and supplies air to the internal space; a sensible heat recovering port which is connected to an upper part of the casing and discharges the air rising along the internal space; an auxiliary sensible heat recovering port which is divided from the sensible heat recovering port, is connected to the casing, and communicates with the internal space; a temperature sensor which is installed on the sensible heat recovering port and measures the temperature of the air; a first valve and a second valve which open and close the sensible heat recovering port and the auxiliary sensible heat recovering port, respectively; and a controller which is connected to the first and second valves and the temperature sensor. The controller opens the second valve and closes the first valve when the temperature measured by the temperature sensor is less than or equal to the preset temperature. |
