The present invention relates to a filtration and sterilization system and a filtration and sterilization method using the same system. More particularly, the present invention relates to an integrated filtration and sterilization system comprising: a body having an inner space and including a backwash water discharge pipe formed at a lower part to discharge backwash water in a backwash mode and a treated water discharge pipe formed at one side of a side surface to discharge treated water in a filtration and sterilization mode and introduce the backwash water in the backwash mode; a filtration filter unit having an inner space, having an outer surface composed of a filtration filter, and having a incoming water inflow pipe formed at one side to introduce incoming water for sterilization and filtration into the inner space; and one or more UV lamps arranged in a space between the inner surface of the body and the outer surface of the filtration filter unit to sterilize the incoming water filtered by the filtration filter.
