For a servo press and a method for controlling the servo press, the servo press comprises a bolster, a slide, a driving unit, and an oil pressure supplying part. A workpiece is located on the bolster. The slide press processes the workpiece at the upper part of the bolster, and forms a uniform fluidic layer inside. The driving unit comprises a first and a second driving parts vertically moving the slide. The oil pressure supplying supplies a fluid to the fluidic layer inside the slide. |
